My JR Pac has these little tiny green dots all over the screen - in a specific pattern.
Any ideas of what might be causing this?

You have the dedicated board right? Not the field kit conversion board?

i'd be interested to know where you are going with this? how does this help? is this how you got all your 14,991 posts?

anyway i would wiggle test the connector. see if theres a problem with one of the pins in there getting weak. take the connector off and look at the spacing there of the pins. are they all the same? any oxidation? any wires loose from the pin? if the spacing is off then id suspect a weak pin. replace. if i ever even *think* a pin is a problem i get my pin removal tool out and replace them ALL. i love doing this because i like to cross possible problems off my list when troubleshooting.
be careful when wiggle testing. damage to the PCB can happen. i had a Pac Man that had a terrible hum when playing. when i wiggle tested the connector, the hum went away. i then screwed a wire holder to the cab and that kept the hum from returning. went to sleep and when i woke up i replaced the pins and all is well.

Well for one thing, if it's a 5V issue, the field kit has the regulator on board, vs. having a separate PS in the mappy / superpac conversions...

In any case, i'd go with a bad 2125 or a dirty char ROM.

You don't have many friends, do you? Why don't you find a quiet spot, take a shit in that tinfoil hat of yours & and then shove the whole works down your throat. Chump.

Yes it is the dedicated version - got the board from a fellow KLOV'r
The problem is random - sometimes these little dots are there and sometimes it is super clear. I will check the voltage and see whats up with the 5 v
Also will double check the connectors and make sure all chips are seated properly.
Will follow up then.
