Hi guys

I contacted t-molding.com to see what the minimum would be to get this run. looks like 5000 feet - probably around $2500. I know there are plenty of people looking for this, but are there enough to get this much ordered? Working against is that you don't need that much to do the top box. Do you think we could get 100 people to take 50 feet apiece? Tough sell, I know, thought I'd look into it.

Failing that, has anyone installed the 3/4" on the top box, and eXacto'd it to fit? How did it turn out?

I really need to redo my Mappy molding, but then the top box won't match!

Sam

I am looking for this molding as well - not just for my mappy but for my Jr Pac...
I just had my top boxes rebuilt as well... the sides are made of that crappy particle board and its so thin its impossible to bondo or do repairs to it. so I had new sides made out of plywood. Still have to paint them

+1 but just for one set.

It might be smart to contact all of the other guys like arcadeshop and lizard lick to see if they'd take some inventory from you.

Yeah I posted this about 6 months ago and got zero response.
I forget the price quote and min I got from Outwater
but I think it was like 2500ft
maybe RamC Dave has a source?

the chances of this seeing a light are slim to none.
Id think the odds of someone coming out with NOS from a warehouse find are better odds :D

havnt tried this yet myself but thought the plastics paint may come in orange
or my vinyl screen inks would also stick very well and could be color matched reduced and sprayed onto the molding
also wondered if the faded orange could be cut and buffed down with compond.

too bad the playdoh fun factory cant take liquid platics for these low run extrusions :D

I just had my boxes on my Jr Pac and Mappy rebuilt (sides were originally made of thin particle board) Just finished painting them - and I'm not sure what to do about the crappy old molding that I saved off the boxes

I hope the smiley face means you have a lead on this. If so, count me in for some.

Mine has red t-molding on it and it looks good. If I didn't see this post, I wouldn't have know it was supposed to be orange.

no leads just wishful thinking Im in need as well
or at least as soon as Prok finshes up with those repro boxes
hint hint
