Seeing the pictures of Dorfus at CAX made me dig out some of my Joysticks memorabilia. I figured I'd share 'em in case there are any other nuts out there that enjoy all things Joysticks!

Heh... I'd like to say thanks but I'm not so sure it's something to be proud of. (I have a few more things I have to dig out too) :D

Two things I've always wanted are a sealed, perfect condition VHS version of the movie and then an original Joysticks t-shirt! Not really sure they made them but in the last picture up in the first post you see "TEE SHIRTS AVAILABLE" so I'm assuming they were.

You should have asked Greydon Clark what memorabilia was available. He was an easy guy to talk with....same with Dorfus Greenleaf.

JUEGOS CALIENTES!!!!!! Kinda want to yell the ever annoying FIFA GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL after that.

Great collection!

I had the movie on VHS, laserdisc, and then bought the DVD. Was disappointed in the DVD, it was too dark in comparison to previous releases (I transferred the laserdisc to DVD). I mentioned this to Clark at CAX, and he was interested in my suggestion of doing a high definition transfer to Blu-Ray so I'm going to look into that. The movie, as cheesy as it is, belongs in HD. Nice to know after talking with him he shot in 35mm.

be cool if someone could scan and reprint the movie posters I'd be interested in one

The first poster in the first post has been reproduced and is being sold by a couple different people on eBay. The second poster is from England and in my opinion, is a little bit cooler looking. I just wish mine was in better condition and worthy of being repro'd.

Rad!! I was going to ask about this too. I hope it gets released in 35mm widescreen instead of the standard as it has been through out the years! Make it happen!!

nice collection! i picked up a one sheet (27x41) of the joysticks poster signed by both greydon clark and jim greenleaf at cax last weekend. as far as i can tell it's an original, as it's folded/creased pretty well and has some age to it. greydon clark said he only had 5 left from back in the day.

I'm working on it Steve - if I do, I'll ensure a special KLOV screening first. The pan-and-scan is painful as it is.
