I have a couple of Monroe joysticks and was wondering what the smaller red-top assembly was used for.

Also, if anyone knows I'd appreciate the specifics on the orange ball-top joystick in the image.

Thanks.

The orange ball top is a 49-way joystick......used on Arch Rivals.

Edward

Then I guess this is unique and the joystick, as is, is pretty much useless for other games, correct?

Is the red one setup for only two way ?

I was thinking Gyruss initially, but it uses an 8 way.

The black Monroe would be used for Gyruss. The red Monroe does have two leaf switches. (Though there is the option of adding two more to make it a 4-way).

Thanks.

Sinistar also used a 49-way joystick, but it had a red ball top. Your orange stick is the same, but with an orange ball. I don't know if anything else used this type of stick.

I've never seen a red ball top Monroe stick. Please post if you figure out what it goes to.

I'm still wondering if anyone has any details concerning the red ball top Monroe joystick.

Thanks.
