Joystick identification help

It sorta looks like a rotary mod added to a stock (Coin Controls?) joystick, similar to the 'Data East' rotaries, which are really just a kit that's added to a stock Wico 8-way, replacing the shaft, and adding the rotary switch at the bottom. This makes it a cheaper version of an SNK LS-30 rotary.

The question is, is that an actual kit for that specific type of stick, or did someone hack a Wico kit to fit it to that stick. I could believe the latter, and maybe they did it very cleanly. But maybe some company made a similar kit to the Wico/Data East ones. I've never seen another one like that, so it's hard to say.

You know your sticks Andrew. Did Happ make a balltop rotary?

Haha thanks. It's a side interest. There's a lot of info there that nobody has written down. I do enjoy researching obscure stick stuff.

I'm not aware that Happ made a ball top rotary, but I also don't know the Happ catalog that well, so it's possible. Does it have Happ markings?

its an old style happ ball-top stick. Never seen one with a rotary mod tho.
