I'm assuming the joystick hole should be either 1 1/8" or 1 1/4" diameter. My only other Sega/Gremlin CP is a Moon Cresta, so not much help as a reference for a joystick hole.
If anyone has an original they can measure, or can otherwise confirm the hole size it would be greatly appreciated!
Background:
I've got a couple Arkanoids, one with a bootleg PCB and Korean spinner which is currently going back to being a Pengo.
Unfortunately, I think someone figured it would be easier to drill the joystick hole out to 1 5/8" in order to slide the whole spinner top through without disassembling it.
I'll weld in a new piece in and re-drill it, but sort of hoping it's 1 1/8" so I'm well clear of the welds when drilling.
Thanks in advance!
