What are the standard settings for Joust people use for the points for an extra man, etc? I was surprised to see how customizable it was.

Twin Galaxies/Marathon/Single Player

Extra Men Every: 20,000
Men For 1 Credit Game: 5
High Score To Date: Yes
Difficulty Of Play: 5
Letters For Highest Score: 3

Special Rules: This is a 1 Player Only Variation! No Continues Are Allowed! The Green Label version must be used, no exceptions!

Probably wouldn't make much sense to have different settings for doubles... Yes, that would've been a pain for ops and owners BITD...

new condition (added May 29, 2011)
----------------------------------
In an effort to prevent a two-player game from becoming simply one player dying off quickly and the remaining player playing the game out to a very large score, the following rule has been added, and does not affect current scores on the scoreboard.
The two-player co-op game ends once one of the players has exhausted all lives. Once the "Game Over" message appears for that player, the remaining player may finish out the current wave. Once that wave has been completed, the remaining player must cease control of their player (hands-off control panel), and allow their remaining lives to be killed off. Points received during that final wave, as well as for the extra men being killed off, will be counted towards the final score: the sum of each of the player's scores.
Due to these new conditions, all scores must be verified by a TGI referee watching the game in its entirety, or recorded in full.
