I just purchased a non-working Joust for 150. After looking it over and making sure everything was hooked up correct, I turned it on and saw the display error of 1 - 2 -5. If I read the manual correct this means RAM error row 2 chip 5. Does this sound correct. Also, does anyone have any suggestions after I check or replace this chip. I.e. could this be caused by a bad power? Thanks.

Bad power supply is possible, but not likely for that error code. Swap the bad RAM with one of the ones next to it and see if you code moves.

It is possible that it is a bad socket, corroded pins on the RAM chip or the first of a few bad RAM chips. Overall even if you have to replace them all, that is a great score.
