Joust PINBALL on eBay - Not Mine

the one guy says 402 were made the other guy says 492 were made?

I think it is 402. Probably a typo given the typing skills of the second poster of the auction.

I love how NEITHER auction has close up photos of the playfield. These many times had bad planking on them, and cracking in the middle.

The second one also has a display digit out from the looks of the pics. I wouldn't go over $4k on that one [/sarcasm].

The first one is mine.
I added better pictures of the playfield, It does state better pictures are available via email (I didnt realize ebay would let me post my own as they are such Nazis and change the rules daily... I didnt want it canceled because I thought for myself!...lol)

Also, it was 402 as referenced in the pinball database.

Yeah, this is definitely meant to be a 2 player game...lol
However, I have gotten used to playing it in one player (convinced a game this expensive is going to be played no matter what... Even if nobody is around...lol)
And I have gotten to like it, it is challenging... Not as much as my other pins of course, but still enjoyable... BUT, way, WAY more fun with a second player for sure!
Great party game too.

Yours looks much nicer than the other one from what I can tell. Good luck with the sale! It's realy up there!

I was not saying your was not in good shape. Hope you did not take it that way. It's just hard to tell when you don't have close up pics :(

Not at all, I actually wanted to include them, but Ebay is so frikin weird now about what you can and cant do. I tried to link to them originally and they red flagged it...lol

But I really did want to show the shape... I actually have these pics in 5MB form as well so people can REALLY see it.

I love reading stuff like your comments because it shows what people need to see... you prolly helped me tremendously by making me revisit putting the pics into the auction... cuz if you were thinking it... so was everyone else!

Thank you!

Besides I am VERY easy going... just ask anyone! ...lol

Great party game too.

I played one at the Ottawa show this summer. (I think it was Steph's?) Is it really fun in 2-player mode, but in single player when the ball goes on the opposite side it's like playing upside down.. it feels really odd. It doesn't suck, it's just much better in 2-player. The high prices it fetches are due to its rarity and not necessarily its 'fun factor', but if I had a money tree, I'd definitely own one. ;)

Yah, that was mine...

Single player is in "interesting" since you control flippers on both sides of the PF,
but it's really alot more fun with two players.

Not an overly deep rule-set, but not too bad given the smaller PF area(s)

But yes, it's more of a "collector" pin than a player pin.

I'll be very curious to see how much these two pins will go for...
(... I "may" want to sell mine... )

Thanks,
Steph

1st pin ended at $4905.00. (sold)
2nd pin ended without a sale but had 2 offers.

WOW!
Pricey!

For $4905.00, I keep thinking about just how many video games I could fill up my garage with!!!
