Its only fun if you have two good players. 1 player mode = fail for me..

I used to play it at the local arcade. So after BK, joust and defender were must haves.. Traded a system 1 cabinet for it(can't remember, but I think it was with 2 to 4 kits I think it was all but PP). Joust pin was not working when I traded for it.. This joust got around... It had a 1984 permit sticker for maryland.. Not sure how it got to CA..

Main reason for selling is it took up too much room and never got played.. Plus there are 2 or 3 in the bay area that can go to CAX.. I am happy its going to a place were it will be played..

Now I have to decided if I am going to keep defender. I always thought of them as a set.. Defender is pretty unique.. But if someone wants to pony up $2k, they can take it. I will fill the space with MM, MB and/or tron..

Very cool! That is a sweet looking game, how was it to play?

ps i want your Boxing Bugs!!

I think the place is going to be called Agragames coinop museum. they are gathering games up and sending them back by the container.

If your asking about joust. Its fun if you have 2 good players. Impossible for me to play solo.

Defender is really interesting. It plays like the video game. You have to hit popup targets in the playfield. If you take too long they grab your humanoids. You have smart bombs to kill them. 3 ball multiball 3 flipper game. Defender is very rare as production was 369.

I played defender a bunch the last 2 days. I almost kept it, but it had a minor glitch where it would dump out the locked ball when it kicked out a new ball. My buddy suggested I get the rottendog pcb to try to fix it. But I felt I would rather have a newer pin in the space..

Now that joust and defender are gone, My oldest pin will be black knight. I just need to sell off black knight(fixable) blackout(fixable), gorgar(parts pin), pokerino(parts pin), and batman(parts pin).

Thanks for the info !

Looks like mainly pins and EM games.

Geez, who thought that would be happening over here....COOL !

About Joust pinball needing 2 good players: I think the same actually applies to the videogame Joust if you play 2 player, the 2nd has to be about as good as the first to be not annoying.

Same with MB.

Did you get your asking price for the Defender ? How was it cosmetically ? I`m trying to determine a real price for one.
