I headed out to Lowes this morning to pick up paint to stencil my Joust, but came back empty handed. Since it's a long drive, I even called ahead last week to make sure they could match the codes I had, and the person I spoke to assured me they could. It turns out the ones from here: http://appolo.com/colorcodes/joust.htm are apparently 'old' Valspar colour names which they don't have in the computer any more. When I showed them the updated ones from pr0k's site: http://www.gamestencils.com/index.php?sc_page=41 they didn't know what sized can these formulas were for, nor which tint base to use with them. Plus, they hardly had any oil-based paint in the place (only exterior with a couple of tint bases) and they don't carry the 'Enterprise' brand. This is Lowes Canada, so maybe they carry different stuff than the US stores.

So, does anyone have other recent codes for the Joust colours, or suggestions for what else to use?

I went to Home Depot today, and they actually have the Valspar colour names in their computer and can match them to any of their brands (Behr, CIL). So HD has 'old' Valspar paints in their database and Lowes doesn't. WTF

Anyways, the 'Scarlet Fire' red and 'Sweet Goldilocks' orange look very close to the original colours, but the 'Fluorite' looks more yellowish than cream. Can anyone confirm these colours are a good match?

The colors on my site have been updated to reflect the correct paint, base and quantity. These matches are MUCH better than the ones that include goldilocks etc..

I used those colors to paint mine. I didn't use stencils, I hand painted over the original.

Turned out well.

That's great, thanks. Since the Valspar Ultra Premium is a latex, and my cab is already painted brown with oil-based (by the previous owner), should I put on a coat of primer first when doing the stencils? Or start from scratch and prime the whole cab and repaint the using the Valspar brown before stenciling?

Start over. Sand it down, make the cabinet perfect, primer, etc.. Use the same type paint for base and each layer. If you have the skills to stencil and paint, you should do well!

Whenever your'e stencilling you want to paint layers in a paint compatible with the layer below or you'll risk having peeling issues when you remove the stencils due to poor layer adhesion. Me, i'd start fresh.. sand it down fix any damage and do it right.
