I think my daughter who turned 11 months today is ready to challenge others at Joust. ....Perhaps not quite there but hopefully some day soon! She seems close to understanding what she is controlling but mainly just likes seeing everything up close and the sounds. Crystal Castles also seems to keep her attention but she doesn't seem to get the trackball much and just tries to hit it like the buttons instead of moving it.

cute. My 4 year old niece wants to play with me but I'm not sure that she quite gets the concept of moving and hitting buttons at the same time....

i'm sure she will one of these days soon. i wonder what the average age is for them to actually understand the whole game play, etc. i guess i can only keep waiting for now but hopefully she maintains the excitement.

Joust was the first game my daughter ever touched too. I helped her hit the flap button while she looked at the screen. At six months she is way too young to really understand what was going on though.
