I am almost done with my Multi Williams,so I thought I would post it here.
I bought an empty Joust cab for Tron guy back in June.
It had no cp,monitor, bezel or marquee.
Check out the getto heater vent cover on the speaker panel.
I only have the second color on the stencil to go and then clear coat with polycrylic.
Here are some pics of the cab when I got it home.

I bought a Stargate cp from Quarter Arcade and converted it to the Multi layout.
I routed 1/8" off the flat area and put lexan down so I could put the dust washers below the cpo.
I hate them above the cpo.
Drilled and routed.

I opted to use perforated metal for the speaker panel in place of that getto heater vent cover.
It came prebent on the edges and powder coated black.:)
I like how it came out.

Looking good...

How did you paint the stencils? Regular spray paint in a can or HVLP.

- Mike

I used Rustoleum Painters Touch Ultra Cover 2x spray paint on the stencil.
The base is Rustoleum satin black sprayed with HVLP.
I didn't want the paint too heavy for the stencils so I opted for the spray cans.

Looking good!

I really like what you did with the control panel. Ingenious solution to the dust washer problem!! I whish I had thought of that before making mine!

I can't take credit for the control panel mod.
I saw the same thing while searching the net.
If I had a joust cp then the metal plate would have held the dust washers in place.
I love how these Williams cabs have the ground braid to each place needed in the cab.
Makes it easier to ground everything.
I have since secured those wires hanging from the JROK.
Here some pics of the inside and back of the cab.
I had a spare iso from a DK that I used along with a new switcher.
The last pic is a chunk missing from the upper back door I have fixed.

Any pics after the red stencils applied? How many coats of red and yellow are you putting on? Also, do you plan on clear coating the cab to protect the finish?

- Mike

hey Jim, I changed my mind, I want my joust cab back.

Ok,you can have it back for $1,000.:D

@Mike,yes I am going to clear coat with Polycrylic.
I am going to do the red stencils in about an hour.
I put 2-3 light coats of yellow and then the same with red.
The first coat was real light and I let that sit for about 5 minutes then hit it with more light coats till I liked the coverage.
You have to be careful not to get too heavy around the edges of the stencils or they get harder keep from pulling up the paint.
I am going to try Rich's suggestion and spray a light coat of yellow, let it dry and then spray the red,to help the coverage of the red over the black.

Thanks everyone.
I will post the final pics once I finish.
There is one small spot I need to repaint, but I need to wait till the last coat gets totally cured.
I have to mask it off and don't want to pull anymore paint up.
I ordered the T-Molding tonight and should get it in a few days.
