My Joust is at it again. It has an nvram which might be part of the problem, or it could be something else.

I saw this garbage on screen a couple of days ago. Also, sometimes when I turn it on it has an cmos settings restored error. My assumption is that whatever is causing the graphics glitch is also causing the setting issue, but there could also be a problem with the nvram, though it isn't old at all.

Where should I start. Reseat cables and chips?
