RESOLVED!

so, I bought a joust cab with no boards yesterday. Today, I put in my joust boardset that I made a jamma harness for and know for a fact that it works. After hooking everything up, I get 131 flashing on the rom board, followed by 137 after 131 flashes a few times. I tried swapping the boards with my backup boardset with no change. Both boardsets give 131/137 errors. I played my joust a few weeks ago, and it worked fine. Could I have a loose wire in the cab, bad power, or something else?

131 is typically a power supply issue. Did you swap the good power supply over also? If so, I'd suspect bad connectors or wiring...

the psu was in the cab. I had my boardsets on jamma, so I don't know if I have a good joust psu or not... I think I have 4 of them right now. I'll try to check all my voltages to make sure they're coming out as they should.

Also, is it just me, or does anyone else hate these original connectors where it's just a wire pushed into a clip?

OK. good news. It ended up being a blown fuse on the -5V line. I replaced the fuse, and it popped again right away, so I changed it out with one of my other psu's, and it booted up. I still don't like those connectors... they tear up my fingers.
