All wires are fine, the lights on the coin door don't have voltage, the game menu button works where you scroll through the game settings, but it appears the other two, (manual mode, and high score reset), do not work. I traced the door wires back to PCB's and nothing looks burnt or unconnected. The game has a modified power supply with a switching p/s. One note is that the game PCB with the LED chip that gives error codes is displaying a 'G' the game boots up fine and goes into attract mode but I cannot start a game. Any ideas? Thanks everyone.

It sounds like the ground wire is bad. Normally the ground wire for the control panel goes through the same connector that supplies the 6.3VAC for the coin door. If it is connected to a switcher, make sure the connector for the coin door is connected to the power supply. Many times the lights are connected to the -5V or the +5V if it is being run off a switcher.

That same coin door ground runs the switches on the coin door, so that would be the first thing I would check.
