What is the correct length of the screws in the Joust back door that hold the white plastic harness loops, and the metal pcb plate?

Mine seem a little too long and bulge through the backdoor slightly when tightened up. I don't think I had any shorter screws elsewhere on this game… maybe…

Is this normal, or did I get a few screws swapped at some point? I think they're about 3/4" long.

It's probably normal. But I always get the 5/8" long ones that way I don't worry about 3/4" inch material. I do believe that Williams's back doors are thinner than 3/4" material though. So it wouldn't hurt to just get half inchers and be safe.

It's been a while, so I can't quite remember but I think I had shorter screws for the metal tabs for the latches. I need to remove them and see. I still can't figure out how I ended up with too many long screws. Yes, the back door is thinner, around 1/2".
