Has anyone ever documented the RAM & ROM locations on the physical PCB compared to the codes generated on self-test if the game finds a bad RAM and/or ROM? As far as I know, this was never documented by Williams. I looked at documentation for other Williams boardsets for this style PCB (Turkey Shoot, Mystic Marathon, Blaster, Inferno) thinking they would be the same but this doesn't appear to be the case.

I've got one board that is reporting a bad ROM, 209, and another reporting a bad RAM, 101. Thanks in advance.

The documentation is goofy. RAM chip 1-0-1 should be the first chip on bank 1, but it is actually the 3rd or 4th chip on bank 1. It is showing the chip number rather than the position. I had something similar with my original Mystic Marathon boards. WHat I did was take the row and move every chip one position to the right and fill the empty socket with a known good chip. When I saw the error move I knew I had found the right chip. Of course, it took 3 tries because I started with the wrong bank :(.

There is also something wrong with the ROM error position decoding, but I don't remember what it is.

Did you happen to solve the Error 101?
We are having the same issue with a Joust2.
Thank you,
