So, I like Journey OK but am not a big fan. But my wife is so we get tickets and see them in Baltimore and I had fun. But since my closest connection to the band is the arcade game, throughout the concert I have thoughts like:

1) Ross Valory is the guy that gets pushed up on those pogo things in the game
2) Johnathan Cain is the one who you have to push up on the joystick to get him to jump. I hate that because I always expect the button to make him jump and lose a life if I have not played in a while.
3) I wonder if I can get the new lead singer to pose like Steve Perry and update the digital graphics. We could name it Journey 2009!
4) Where is the BIG bouncer guy?

Heh. I am still occasionally surprised at how much games (arcade and otherwise) connect into real life.

I just saw Journey last night, great show. About the game, after all bandmembers acqire their instruments, they 'play' a concert. The 'big bouncer guy' is their manager, Herbie Herbert.

I mean I might as well be listenin' to Journey,
Givin' myself a mullet hook the Flowbee to the Kirby,
