No shit! I was not expecting him to accept..especially with that much time left in the auction. I guess I get to start hunting for Journey parts. LMAO

A couple members have come forward with parts..so I'm excited and looking forward to bringing this Journey back to life. When its done I will write up a letter detailing the cabs restoration listing everyone I get parts from and put it the cab so future owners will know a bit about its past.

OK.. paid for it today. Shipping cost 280 dollars. Grand total 480 dollars. It better be a Journey cab or I'm gonna be really pissed. LOL

The seller is actually Gaming and Graphics in Pa.

They came in and bought a whole storage unit of games from me and Mike (masco73) a couple months ago.

That Journey cab wasn't one of the games from our storage unit. They got it from somewhere else. :)

Not sure how this info helps..but thanks. ;)

yeah.. I felt confident dealing with the guy. He was very responsive to my questions about shipping. I literally would ask a question and get a response in minutes today.

Well.. I got a guy selling me a boardset and another with a tape deck. I figure those would be the hardest to find. After that I will have to see what is left in the cab from the conversion. Possibly will need PS and wiring harness.

Is your tape deck coming with the tape deck interface board? That's more difficult to come by than a tape deck. That being said, make sure you do a search for the solid state tape replacement that Rikitiki and Xray2 are doing.

Yeah, I saw (I get the updates to that thread). I've got some pics of my cab in my restoration thread. Fortunately, you can get side art, marquees, and CPOs. The toughest part will be getting the glass monitor bezel. Does it have the original control panel?

The pics in the auction show it was modified for the Ninja Gaiden game.

Yeah, but looking at it, it's the original CP. You're going to have to fill in some holes (I would get pieces of sheet metal and epoxy it on the back side and then Bondo it from the front), but at least you've got the original to work with and nobody altered the wood frame holding the CP to make another one fit.
