Greetings good citizens of KLOV.

I am letting my original Journey cabinet project go so here is the story.

I rescued a bombed-out Tetris conversion from Ebay around 2008 or so. There were no original parts left inside so I began to restore the cabinet cosmetically back to a Journey. I was lucky enough to find an NOS Journey glass bezel since the bezel graphics were not available at that time. I sanded the sides down completely (they were tattered) and sprayed with Navy Blue Rustoleum. Someone from KLOV donated a control panel and I installed a repro overlay on it and a Wico red balltop leaf switch joystick (I know, not correct joystick for the machine but it was my preference at the time). It has a repro vinyl marquee under clear plexi. I also have uninstalled Journey sideart from TOG that I bought as soon as it was available.

I knew finding internals for a Journey cabinet would be unobtainum and expensive so I just went with a MAME configuration so I could play the game and take it to one of the SFGE shows.

I am planning to remove the MAME PC, encoder, and monitor for my other projects. I just want to sell the cabinet and parts so that someone else can finish the restoration properly.

I am asking $850 for the cabinet, NOS Bezel, control panel, repro marquee and uninstalled repro sideart set. The NOS bezel alone cost me around $400 plus shipping 15 years ago.

Happy to answer any questions.

Cheers,
Art

I think @mhcapps would be interested in this, he's local.

Nice cab. Curious to know what the serial# is that is stamped into the back of the cab at the top.
If you don't mind sharing that info with us. We are always looking to see how high that number could be.

What's the cabinet number? I would have jumped on it if I saw this sooner. I have a Journey "reborn". (IE original hardware in a repro cabinet.) Hope new owner is able to finish the project!
