John McAllister's Asteroids to be donated to the Hall of Fame

Walter Day asked the Seattle Metro Arcade Collectors for a game donation to the Hall of Fame that opens in Ottumwa Iowa this August.

I just made a deal with John McAllister for the SMAC group to buy his record breaking Asteroids. John (a SMAC member) and the Asteroids will be at the Northwest Pinball & Gameroom Show June 11-13. We will give John, Asteroids, and the HOF publicity at the show, then donate THE Asteroids to the International Video Game Hall Of Fame.

Don't miss the show, we do all sorts of crazy stuff, it rocks.

That sounds Awesome!! I hope you guys do this on Saturday. I know I will be there all day!!

Does anyone want to donate or give me a good deal on an Asteroids marquee? John was already committed to auctioning his away. Your Asteroids marquee will be the one displayed in the record breaking machine at the IVGHOF.

Walter is so jazzed, that he might attend the show again this year.

seeing Walter again would be awesome. he's such a great personality and a nice guy.

and it'll be cool to see John spend more time in front of a crowd and less time crawling inside of broken cabinets this year.

I'm 99% sure I have one I can send you. However, I will be out of town till late Friday evening. PM me with mailing address if you want it and I will get it to you as soon as I can.

I personally think it would be cool if John McAllister and Scott Safran's machines sat together in said museum...

I want to thank alejandromad

displayed in John McAllister's Asteroids at
