Funny how Retrocade Magazine went through all the trouble of making a virtual poster for this and still got the name of the game wrong.

4 days?? Can you build up hundreds of free guys and take breaks like asteroids?

Very short breaks. Frenzy kills you off at a relentless pace.

Maybe I'll give him a run for his money...

Wait, 100 hrs??? I am still trying to break 100 seconds consistently, that thing is a quarter eater!!!

That is some serious gaming right there. And insane. Permanent damage can be done from lack of sleep. But that man can play a mean game. Was watching for awhile, amazing skills! These marathon gamers boggle my mind, I'm happy if I can concentrate on one thing for 2 or 3 hours.:D

Why even bother? What good can come of this? It's hard to watch, the guy is 44 hours in and fatigued beyond belief. I will not watch someone turn their brain into scrambled eggs on a live internet stream. And there's no more twin galaxies anyway, so again.. why bother. He'd be lucky to get a twenty second spot on the local news these days. Let it go. It's not 1982 anymore.

Marathon Gaming can be fun. I've done Starcraft I and broodwars. But that was only 17 hours. Plus it really fucked me up, I could not fall asleep for another 12 hours.

I just hope that after 100 hours, as hes almost half way there, that he is ok. You have to be very dedicated to subject your body to that. If my memory is correct. A guy died playing WOW for that long a few years ago. Organ failure from not moving for that long and being in the siting position. All the redbull and stims probly didn't help.

I'm just hoping that it doesn't end up like a few recent live gaming steams where him and his wife suddenly decide to get "All Barry White up in dat place". :D

There was another video floating around where Joel tried to do a marathon with a stomach virus or something and he was vomiting while playing. I enjoy playing games as much as the next guy (usually more) but seriously....
