Jeff Kinder's Home Arcade 2.0

I've never seen Tin Star till just now ... doesn't seem that bad.

Reminds me of my own decisions regarding adding Blasteroids to my "Asteroids Collection" and ROTJ to my "Star Wars Collection".
At the end of the day, I had to do it. :)
(Though admittedly, the raster games pale in comparison to the vectors which preceded them. I believe most would agree).

@VectorCollector .... now see what you made me do?! Lol

Speaking of obscure titles, I also picked this one up.

This is my first Exidy title, ever!

What, no Mouse Trap, no Cheyenne (or other shooter), no Targ or Spectar, no Pepper II?
Not even Venture? The BEST EXIDY GAME, IMHO. :)

Shameful.

Mouse Trap a Cheyenne are two that I'd love to own some day. Hmmmmmmm!!! Lol

Picked up my first "flat top" Taito cab! Got it in a trade with @Dillweed and was delivered last night by @CharlieG! Thanks to both of you!

I have fond memories of playing this when I was a kid.... first on Intellivision... then later at the arcade.

There's actually quite a few flat top Taito games that are really fun.

Sunday night pickup! Astro Invader!

I'm pretty much maxed out at this point, so something had to go :( I had 3 Bally Sente Sac1b cabs, so I sold one last week to make room for this one. I LOVE this game. I had been looking for one for many years and finally found one local. I remember first time playing this game at the arcade in the Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City sometime in 1981. I'm happy it's finally in the collection!

Nothing really much to do to it cosmetically except replace the colored t-molding with the original black t-molding. (not really a fan of colored tmolding). The PCB has a few minor issues that need to be addressed, but overall, it's ready to go right into the lineup!

I'm no fan of colored T Molding either, but man, whoever did this nailed the color selection on this one. It blends very well with the stenciled artwork.

I'd keep the colored tmolding. Looks cool. IMHO. :)

See - match the game with the correct color and it sure does pretty up the game .... bazinga ... LOL

Finished up a Ms. Pac-man restoration today! The cab was solid, but the original paint faded quite a bit in the past 43 years and was also flaking off in many areas. I sanded the entire cab down to the bare wood, bondo'd up the dents and dings, and went with the complete art package from Phoenix Arcade (vinyl side art, control panel overlay, glass bezel, and marquee). Special thanks to @CharlieG for hooking me up with his leftover blue paint from his recent Ms. Pac-man restore. I'm super happy with how this restoration turned out.

It's all ready to move into the Pac-Man row.

Here are some before and after pics:

Finished restoring a Kram and moved it into the basement. The cabinet needed a bit of reinforcing (bottom was falling out), but it's nice and solid now. Everything else is all original. Just gave it a real good cleaning. It's pretty fun game.
