JB Weld

If you've got a community college nearby that has a automotive class, you may well be able to pop in and have them do it as well - should be a quick/simple thing to fix.

Had a busted scoop on my TZ - I bought the new/improved model, but also had my old one spot welded by a friend for a backup..

Otherwise, can't beat free (well, for the cost of postage anyway)!
 
I love JB Weld. I have fixed a leaking windshield washer reservoir, repaired a cracked ceramic base for a Christmas tree, attached heatsinks to ICs - it has rescued me many times. I could even figure out a way to make it work here but I agree - just get it re-welded. You use the right tool for the right job. The right tool here is a welder.
