We're back with Grover, this time with the extremely rare SEGA Missile Command cockpit.

Somebody go get Squall, see if he has the cash.

I can't seem to get the base Marketplace link so I linked the listing as a post in a group I'm in, sorry. If you want it and you search marketplace, it's Grover Gibson here locally in Virginia.

I think it's cool Japan didn't have the cold war theme, had to "spaceify" it because there wasn't that hysteria like the US… plus… well… Hiroshima and Nagasaki

I am not on social media. Don't know if anybody could reach out to him and get me his contact information. I sure would appreciate it and just personal message me here with it thanks.

I can do that for you

Just texted him, it apparently sold, guys. Somebody got a score!

I feel fortunate he's 30 minutes from me but his stuff is often listed when I don't have the money or he posts cockpits that literally can't fit in my house at this time 🤣🤣 I have gotten 3 games from him, knows what he's doing, sells quality

@Kalan714 and @andys80s also had these cabs here in SoCal. Kalan's went to Banning, Andy might still have his.

What's was weird is that when the cabinet breaks down into (2) pieces (you can see the seam which overlaps on the right hand side of the Missile Command logo) the artwork is for a different game (you can see this on the kickplate also), thinking it was maybe converted from factory. The kickplate was covered previously:

Factory Atari PCB, not sure if they kept the Atari copyright scrolling on the screen or changed it to Sega as part of the licensing.

Kalan's pictures should be in @aeroflott's Missile Commander book.

Possibly Space Tactics?

Possibly Space Tactics?

The backhalf of the cabinet could be fully removed and front portion freestanding & playable, like a standard stand-up cabinet - (EDOT/Echop style) the rear portion looked like it was optional/add-on. The sideart and kickplate that was partially covered showed this, it doesn't really match the rest of the cabinet graphics.

This kickplate was covered with black vinyl, and the FB ad has the vinyl removed howing the graphic (car) - more than likely it was a slow moving racing game that was factory converted to an environmental/cockpit from factory? Definately not Turbo or Monaco GP.

Other possibility would be a cabinet used from another manufacturer for Space Tactics/Missile Command titles.
