EDIT: Figured out why. Turns out my 5v line (pin 3) is reading 12v and my 12v line (pin 6) has no voltage at all....

I recently obtained an upgraded Japanese DDR cabinet with In The Groove 2 installed. The I/O board that was included in the hardware (Boxor) didn't work as the "Input/lights controller isn't connected or not receiving power" error came up, so I installed a pc with openitg/stepmania and a board similar to a jpac and got it running fine. I then purchased a DDR Digital 573 with DDR Extreme installed and proceeded to install it into my cabinet. I connected the Jamma, the cabinet lights connector, neon lights connector and the pad lights connector. With everything connected correctly I turned on the cabinet, and it didn't work. I assumed everything with the cab was fine since my board with my openitg/stepmania pc was working fine. I tried putting the board into my drummania cabinet to see if it would boot and it didn't. So I then took my 573 out of my Drummania machine and installed it into the DDR machine to see if it would boot, powered on the cab, heard to popping sounds which was soon followed by the scent of burnt electronics. Has this happened to anyone before? I can see that the lights on the cab and pads turn on (all 12v) so what could have possibly caused my board(s) to fry?
