Amusement Journal magazine, a Japanese magazine like RePlay or Play Meter, has a selection of 8 arcade signs that can be downloaded, each available in Japanese and in English (and several other languages).

Let's just say there are both some strong cultural differences and similarities!

For Japanese, see first row of links

For English, see second row ("英 語")

All linked files on their site are in PDF format. I uploaded some JPG conversions here.

a long time ago I had one of those slot machines with a screen, it took the same size token as Chuck E. Cheese tokens so I would go in and load up on them.

Bitd, i'd occasionally end up with extra tokens that i didn't have time to spend, or didn't like the games, whatever. I would take them with me when i went to an arcade, buy some tokens of theirs, then match my leftovers that were the same size and use them all.
Wish i still had some of those tokens. I had some from all over the place.
