Jamma Video Signal Splitter, Interest? - Now Available!

I'm telling you, you got put some female RCA's coming off the audio line. Yes it would only be mono, but the alternative is people will just be soldering a hacked RCA cable onto the audio line, and doing it themselves (and then when they botch it, undo it and send it back to you under warranty :/ ).

My $.02. Putting this out to the DK community too, who are all big on streaming. A Mike's Arcade Nintendo-to-Jamma adapter on the unused edge connector, and your adapter on the JAMMA edge would give them all direct feed capabilities.

Like i said this batch was done quickly to meet one goal which was to replicate video signal to the scalar while keeping the monitor signal untouched.

Adding audio is possible but wasn't needed for my application. I'll look into creating an audio version.

I just ordered one. Can I get the version that will pull audio? I'll wait for that.

Reviving this thread from the dead.

Stores seems to be out of commission and the user's been offline for two months. Anyone have one of these they didn't end up using? Or have an alternative they'd like to suggest?

When will it have rca out?

Man, I have been caught up in other projects that took priority. I think I only sold 5 units so I also felt uneasy dumping more money into the next rev. After I finish this current project, which will be a month, I'll start on this again.

So maybe July - August of things go well.

Sure is re-opened. It was auto closed by tictail

Awesome!

So these do, or do not have audio? Either way, I'm in and am ordering now, just looking into what else I'll need to order to get up and running alongside this.

Thank you so much! :D

Would this allow me to pass video signal to another machine? I have two of the same machines, multi cabs from united artists movie theaters:

https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=393761

My plan was to make extensions for the controls to run out of one machine into the other to connect to the 4 player board, while using this video duplicator to pass the video back to the 3 and 4 player machine so both machines next to each other had the same image. Essentially taking two 2 player games and turning it into a 4 player dual screen.

The united artists cabs have removable drawers that have the controls, board, marquee, light, etc all in one drawer. (You can see them in the above linked thread) so it would be easy for me to switch out games.

It definitely could be useful for this. Does you board not have two monitor outputs?

Update

Hello Everyone,

I noticed that quite a few people reported issues with image quality. I don not believe this is an issue with the scaler but an issue with my impedance matching in my design. I was duplicating the signal between the monitor and the board which could cause the fuzziness. To fix this my plan is to terminate the signal from the arcade on my board and duplicate it twice, once to the monitor and once to the scalar. This should fix the issue that many reported.

If you have ordered my old board I will be shipping you one of the new designs to you for evaluation.

I am discontinuing sale of the current revision and will have the new one for sale after i hear back from those that had issues and confirmed it is eliminated.

Thanks!
David Goldberg
