Has anyone had luck with the JAMMA PCB-to-Nintendo Adapter from Mike's Arcade? I wanted to play the 412-in-1 vertical Game Elf on my DK3 cab. When I first plugged it in, there was a weak title screen, then lots of colored static. Now it just shows an orange screen. DK3 works perfectly, so I know the Sanyo 20EZ works well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you contact Mike?
Is it set to CGA and not VGA on the 412in1?
I see mike lists a 60in1 to nintendo Jamma adapter, does it also actually work with a 412in1? I know the wiring for a 412 isn't 100% jamma standard….

Yes, or at least his company via email. No response yet.

Just confirmed the dip switch is set for CGA

I don't know, but for what it's worth, the 412-in-1 description says "is compatible with JAMMA-wired cabinets. It will not work with older, non-JAMMA arcade systems unless rewired or used with a proper adapter."

The Nintendo adapter I got from Mike didn't work with some games. He also rarely ever responds to email. I've started buying from Adrian (PCBJunkie) and have been much happier.

Thanks for the suggestion. Does he sell this kind of adapter? Do you have a link to a website or a way to contact him?

Mike's Arcade worker responded that my question will be forwarded to Mike, so I'll share the info here as to whether or not I get this resolved.

I got this reply from Mike:

"sounds like you need to adjust the +5 on the power supply. you'll need a multimeter to do it."

Unfortunately I don't know how to do this. Does anyone here have experience doing this, or maybe know of a thread where I can see how to do it? No further response from Mike yet.
