I have a guy who wants me to install a 60 in 1 into his table top digdug.

I know they make a jamma to galaga.

Do they make a jamma to dig dug?

if so... link?

thanks
guys

They made adapters for the Namco pinout, but not the Atari pinout. Besides, a new harness is about the same price as an adapter, has the wiring for the extra buttons (and/or trackball), and you'll know it's right...

An adapter kit from Bob Roberts is only like $10. Just need to solder the wires from one side to the other per the pinouts.

I don't know if a crapty-in-1 PCB needs -5VDC, but you won't find it in an OEM Dig Dug harness.

And of course, Dig Dug only has 1 button, so many of the 60 games will be unplayable.

No. They only need +5 and +12.

They use 3.3v, but have their own regulator on board for that.

It doesn't.

But you should be able to play Dig Dug. :D

I'd go the adapter route. Much easier to just build a little adapter board and that way you don't have to hack up the wiring. It should take a lot less time to build the adapter than it would to rewire the cabinet too.

And, on the plus side, you don't destroy a Dig Dug to shove some stupid multiboard into! Everybody wins!

OK, good to know the 60N1 doesn't need -5.

Then I guess the only issue is, down the road when someone says "sweet, it's got a JAMMA adapter!" and plugs in who-knows-what... and that needs the -5V, but it's not there.

I would like one of these myself to put a Namco Classics PCB (JAMMA) in my Dig Dug cabinet. :)
