Hey guys got another one.

Did a little research and found this but wanted to make sure I understood it.
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=349736

I am resurrecting a chopped up Big Blue (paint just went on today, build thread to follow) and have a working SF2CE board set now. Originally wanted to stick a Naomi in here to play MvC2. But then got the Sf2 working and that is originally what the cabinet had so...

I want to use one of the Mike's Arcade Jamma Switchers to run the CPS1 and Naomi together in the cabinet. At least until a candy cab comes up in my area.

The older thread I linked mentions a possible secondary power supply for just the Naomi. So I would need essentially two 200w power supplies running in parallel to power the CPS1 stack and Naomi main board respectively? Then one of those ALSO powers the final jamma harness from the switch to power the control panel?

Am I pushing my luck here?

Thanks a bunch for the help with my previous questions. If I could get an image hosting site to downsize my massive phone pictures I will put up my build thread.

Yeah I think you will need to run the second power supply. Whichever one is second I would remove the power wires but leave the grounds from the jamma switcher.

so one power supply would still power the harness and that would power the switcher with board 1.

then on the jamma extender for the switcher, cut the 5V, -5V, 12V, but leave the ground. Bring power in to the now cut wires with the second power supply.
