So this is the first I've been messing with jamma stuff I have bunch of old harnesses and control panel bits crappy boards etc from unconversions of classics. I thought I'd salvage some parts and set up a jamm game in a cabinet

I wired up the power and it works but looking at harness and manuals I have I'm not sure whats "standard" here for sound The speaker pinouts seem to be standard, but the 2 pins below on some say not connected one I had has a volume pot connected and another just says sound opt

so is there a standard? does volume pot go there? or should I just wire volume pot off the speakers and ignore the extra 2 pins so its works with many games? would a game that wanted pot have not sound if it was omitted?

looks like some ignore the test switch too.

The speakers wire up in the same spot on the Jamma harness for each game (that's the point of the Jamma standard) but yes some have other speakers wired up on the next connector. Just leave those off, 99% of the Jamma games don't use it (or a pot wired up there).
