JAMMA multigame to Pacman harness adapter, no extra power supply needed

This is a JAMMA board to Pacman cabinet adapter. This adapter allows you to put a JAMMA board, such as a 60in1, into Pacman cabinet with no additional wiring or extra power supply. No modifications are required to the cabinet wiring at all It is plug and play. Player 1 button can be used as JAMMA Button 1, like for jump or fire. Player button 2 can be used as JAMMA button 2, like for shield. The adapter also has an additional connector that allows connection to the extra JAMMA buttons for an expanded control panel.

The power supply specs are 5V 2A, and 12V 0.5A.

A Galaxian version of this adapter is also available.

Price is $125 shipped US only.

Price drop to $90 shipped.

I've bought several of these- they work great!

I've bought several of these adapters from Kngcbra, they work great. So simple to use, plug and play. Kngcbra is a great guy to deal with:)

Are the buttons hard-coded for P1 to be Action B1? Is it possible to change that to be P2 instead based on your CP layout?

I got one of these adapters and wanted to post a little review on them. I think they work awesome! It's so nice to just be able to plug in and go play! Nothing to it...almost felt uneventful! :)

I received the latest version 2.0 adapter Kngcbra which you can see here -

It's very well made and very compact. The fitment on the fingerboard to the Pac Harness is very tight and solid. You'll noticed there is a header there to allow for custom panels which allows support for additional P1 & P2 Buttons and ground if you have the need.

There is also jumpers for the Stock Button Assignments which you can turn on and off. By default, P1 Start ---> P1 Button 1 and P2 Start ---> P2 Button 2

Here is the adapter installed on the harness, I'm using a JNX Atlas adapter in this picture only for visual representation to show the +5v voltage output which you can see is essentially on the nose.

And here you can see the voltage under load with a multiboard attached

Again I cannot say enough good things about how easy and well this adapter works. I installed mine on a Pac Man cabaret/mini that is a 100% original wiring and power inside. It's so nice to be able to unplug the original board, plug in this adapter and not make any changes, not install a separate power supply, not pull any fuses, not tap into an ac line somewhere, etc...

To me that is worth the extra price and honestly with the other options out there once you factor in adding the extra PS needed...the difference is hardly much.

Thanks for making a great product Kngcobra...Works fantastic!

Anyone use this with the ArcadeSD board?

I had heard the SD boards are really picky about voltage etc.

Anyone use this with the ArcadeSD board?

I had heard the SD boards are really picky about voltage etc.

I use an Arcade SD in my Pacman cabinet all the time. I did have to setup up a delay in the exit to menu setting. It has been so long now since I set it up, I cannot remember the exact details.

I have never noticed that the Arcade SD was very sensitive to voltage. I have installed 4 of them in mine and a couple friends cabinets.

I have had several people request the pinout of the extra header on this adapter so here it is.

Very cool! I just got my 2nd arcade game, (Pac-Man) and this looks interesting.
So with this adapter, you just buy a 60-in-1 board of your choice?

I'm new at this (Jamma stuff) so any advice is welcome!
