Hey all,

Tried searching the forums for JAMMA harness recommendations, as in suppliers, but not getting any hits that answer the question. I have a Atari Tetris PCB I want to wire up with it.

I found some mentioning to look for suppliers that have dual wired 18 awg power pins but no direct feedback on who. Though I seem to recall someone mentioning Bob Roberts but as he is not open ATM...

Lots of stuff on Ebay and I figured since it's not a heavily populated board I probably don't need to worry much about how good the actual harness is. Only other thing that springs to mind is lead length. Any recommendations for any of this?

Thanks

Bob probably had the best Jamma harnesses but as you said, he's not taking orders right now.

TwistedQuarter is supposed to have good harnesses as well. You really want all wires populated and 18 ga power wires and either 20 or 22 for the rest of the wires.

One of the advantages of Bob's harnesses at this point is that they'd be built with the nice Molex split pins; I'd think that pretty much anything else you'd be buying new nowadays would be built with the shitty Chinese replacement split pins.

Ok, so looking at Twisted Quarter site I see 2 different models that would suit my needs, the difference being one is "fully loaded".

Atari Tetris has a moderate sized input matrix with 2 joysticks and 4 buttons. (ignoring the common stuff). I don't need this cabinet for anything other than the Tetris.. It's a project that I am putting together for a friend's daughter however I suppose the fully loaded would give him the option to change up.

Thanks for all the input guys!!!

I just got one from twisted quarter, it's really nice. I almost got the fully loaded one but crimping my connectors on myself while a pain in the ass still wasn't that bad. I ordered the extra wire/connectors from him as well and now I have lots of extra stuff leftover for future projects.
