I hate that my 6-in-1 has a remote too. really hate that it doesn't automatically select a game upon powerup too. I think if it's got a remote, it'll do that, when it's relay-driven.
I had to run jumper wires from the JAMMA edge to each slot on the 6-in-1 for -5V (among other test switch mods) -- I think the 2-in-1s have the same problem. just a note.
Sorry I have to say this but as far as slecting which you game you want to start up can't this be done by having the board of choice connected to JAMMA #1? lol
I like Clay Cowgills model but the support doesn;t seem to be there (even though he lives about 20 minutes from me) but knocking on someones door is just psycho IMHO. heh
Unfortunately with Clays you also have to buy the adapter boards. So just for two boards you're already $175 plus shipping in the hole. His board is sweet though.

Hellz no. The JammaBoards 6 in 1 powers up to a blank screen. You have to select a board from the remote to get it to go into attract mode. The other complaint I have about these 6 in 1's is that it seems that there are at least 2 slots that have a problem. Either 5V or sound. Then there is the fact that the harnesses/slots aren't fully wired for test, service, and a few others.
Ahhh - then that model is complete and utter shit. Freakin lame and it's great that you guys post your experiences here. Defer other people from making the same mistakes
