There are 1,606,325.5 Jamma games that use 3 buttons.

Can anyone think of/recommend any Jamma games that utilize a joystick & 3 buttons per player?

Just remembered a game called Aurail that used three buttons...

... but I think that wasn't actually jamma, it used that funky Sega conversion.

But seriously... I know there's about 350 jamma games out there, total. I'm just trying to get ideas of the better-known games with that (2 player) joystick/3 button control setup...which is much less than 350 (or "literally hundreds" )
.

Edit: not thinking x-in-1 games

Yes, just checking games I own and that I know are Jamma I can see a half-dozen missing. Sure, most of the missing stuff is rare or wasn't released in the US but it is missing.

It looks like he has a few boards that I would call repeats like X-Men 4 player and X-Men 6 player. Also, he lists stuff like the 60-in-1 but I don't see the many bootlegs that were Jamma like Ms Pac or Bubble Bobble. Like I said, a lot of games are missing.

No, you said "a half dozen"...6.

That being said... You're right, there's probably boots/foreign stuff omitted.

I was thinking there are probably a ton of odd Japanese titles...and yeah, I'm not counting bootlegs/multis either in my estimate, just legit/proper games.

And really, I'm only interested in more common stuff...

The type of games you like could help point us in the right direction in suggesting titles. The jammaboards.com list isn't even remotely close to complete, and is missing hundreds of major US releases from 1990 on (it pegged most of the major 1986-1989 stuff though). The missing stuff is important because 1991 and on is the era where most of the 3 button games reside.

Let's say 1986-1990

No, I said a half dozen off of the top of my head just counting the games I could remember and in my current collection. I know of tons of others, way too many to count.

Frankly, there have been so many Jamma games over the past 25 years that I find it hard to believe anyone would think there were only 350. Do you realize that the average is only 14 per year going off of that estimate?
