ok got a cab with no ps or fuses on the power wires of the jamma harness
does anyone know the proper fuse value for these 2 power lines????
i have a few other cabs and they all have different fuses in them
this was a taito cab converted to jamma before i got it...
im gonna ge it running and maybe put elevator action back in its proper cab ;)
but for now just getting it running is all i need ;)
any help is appreciated ;)

depends on the game, check the manual for what the game was originally released as, that should give you the most accurate rating needed.

forgot to mention it had no game in it ;) and no manual...
im gonna put a 60/1 in it just to play for awhile...a i dont have 1 at the moment.

A 3amp slo-blo is a good size to put on a standard cab. I'd put it as soon as you can wiring wise on the main. Look at Bob Roberts "so I want to build a game" link on his page is you need a diagram or more detailed info.

just because the game wasn't in it and neither was the manual doesn't mean you can't ID it and then download the manual from either the database or another manual database on the net ;) .

there is nothing inside this cab to know what cab it started as...there is a techmo plate on the back from the conversion nothing else very strange...

i put a 3 on the 12 ands a 1/2 amp on the 5 volt
then i look and see the transformer hasnt been rewired and they were using the old ps on the conversion even
the transformer has a molex connector on 1 side but the transformer is black from use ad cannot read what it says on it...lol

take a picture of it and start a thread about ID-ing it, that's your best bet. there's always a chance it won't be id'd but mostlikely someone will know.

Fuses

I guess it goes without saying but make sure you are not using 32Volt auto fuses. and using 250volt.

was a taito jungle hunt...now will be a multi taito or 761/1 with taito all over it..
what fuse values should i use????
