Does anyone know where I can get jamma adapters for either of these games? I have an Ikari Warriors (non-jamma version) and a Gaplus game and I'm considering jammatizing them. An adapter would be the simplest solution. Failing that, where's the best place to get the parts to make my own? Thanks!

ikari

Remember Ikari uses rotary joysticks... I almost bought a PCB and then remembered that I didn't have the controls for it.

Bob Robert has all the part for making JAMMA adapters. Drop him an email.

For Galaga 3, Arcade shop has one, here's a link to the pic:

(go the main page and click on parts. It's called a "Galaga Cabinet to JAMMA PCB adapter")
They also have one at jammaboards.com, although it's currently out of stock:

I've got one, but I'm not sure where it came from (bought it from a friend who buys/sells/repairs games). It looks similar to the one at Arcadeshop, but it's not exactly the same. It also cost alot less. They work good, had it installed in less than 5 minutes. I used it to hook up a 48-in-1. I left all the Gaplus boards in place, and just routed the cabinet harness, video and power cable to the front behind the coin door and mounted the 48-in-1 there. I didn't want to modify my cab at all, and it can be switched back in a couple minutes.

Cool. Thanks for the info everyone. Has anyone ordered from Y-Plus before? I see that they have the Galaga 3 one for $15.00 which is way better than $39 and up everywhere else. But they are in China and I have no idea what the shipping would be so that might kill it. Just wondering if they are legit and offer good prodcuts. Thanks again!

Oh...here's Y-Plus: http://www.arcademvs.com/ARCADE_ACESSERIOR.htm

EDIT: Eh, strike the Y-Plus question. I just found an old thread about them and I won't be ordering from there.

Oh and yeah, I was just going to leave the rotary part disconnected. My rotary sticks look like normal sticks anyway since they aren't the original kind.
