I have a cocktail table w/ jamma 60/1. it has dummy coin doors so you cant just add more credits to allow you to continue. other than just going to the settings and making it just a ms pacman arcade (not 60 in 1) is there a fix to allow you to continue on games?

i found some old posts on here, but the 2 options were:

disable all other games, make it temporarily a dedicated game X unit so you can continmue, or...

turn free play mode off (but I have dummy coin doors, so i don't think that would work)

any help would be mucho apreciado dudes!

what the hell are you people talking about? of course you cannot continue on ms pac man, why would you even want to???

I know on the Ms.Pac/Galaga Reunion machines you can add credits to continue on Galaga...which is pretty lame. I never played Ms.Pac on it so maybe you can continue as well and that's what the OP is thinking of.

You can continue on both games, as well as all 3 on the 25th Anniversary cabinets, which is rediculous. I asked a guy on the 5th key if he continued.... he said he would never get that high without continues.

I don't really know why someone would want to continue on Ms. Pac, probably just so they can be showy.

just to get to higher levels, same reason you continue on just about any game. duh.

Yeah you can continue on the reunion Ms.pac/Galaga. But you can disable it. It was the first thing I changed when I used to have one.

The reason they added 'continue' in the reunions was so they could make more money. If you restart at the beginning each time, you might play for 20 minutes on 1 credit. If you continue on the 5th key, you're probably only going to play 5 minutes on that 1 credit. So they just saved 15 minutes that somebody else could walk up and put another credit in = more cash.
