Jamma 6-in-1 switcher

Im looking for a Jamma 6-in-1 switcher preferably with the -5 for mortalk kombat and killer instinct.

Jammaboards.com offers them with the -5vdc for an extra $20, but they don't to the service menu mod. I do both services for free as long as the sender pays for shipping both ways, I cover the labor. I'm not into this to make money. Just a hobby and always happy to help other gamers. I'm an electrician by trade, so it's no problem. I've done so many for free, that I can't start charging people now.

I am in Afghanistan right now and won't be home until July, so you'd have to wait until then, but I'm willing to help you out when I get home and when you get a switcher.

Oh, you can also get one from here...

Also, I noticed you need an MK1 board. I have 11 of them. 8 Y-Unit and 3 T-Unit. All complete kits. Let me know if you are interested.

You oughta replace those crappy relays with ones that are heavy duty and charge for it. You'd make a lot of people happy and could make some spare change on the side.

I've thought about it, but in my experience, most of the problems I have run into is with the switcher not being able to receive the signal from the remote. The last board I did wouldn't switch at all, essentially meaning that it was dead. After re-flowing the receiver board (the little board that mounts perpendicular to the slots), it started to switch and work normally. When I sent it back to the owner, it started to not work again and he had to buy another one. He sent me the new one and I had no problems with it, so you never know.

I've done roughly 20 or so of these switcher mods and never had one that had a bad relay. But installing better ones certainly isn't a bad idea.

From what I've read they're not bad out of the box but fail in a relatively short time because they can't handle the load. One poster on here was down to 3-4 working slots over a year or two because the relays kept failing.

I'd love to see one of these that was really built to last and was reasonably priced.
