After going through all the multiple Jamma 6-in-1 switcher threads on the site, I can't seem to find any that mention the issue I'm having. When I plug boards into the switcher, I get no coin door lights or the ability to coin up players 1 and 2. It doesn't matter which board or which slot I have it in -- same result.

I've continuity tested the pinouts for coin up on the switcher board and get a reading on them. I'm not sure where to look next. I've heard of the relays burning out on these boards so I'm not sure if that could be causing it. What should I test next?

Background: board hasn't had the -5v modifications and I am using Konami/DE 4P games to test (TMNT, X-Men, Sunset Riders, Simpsons, Capt. America & the Avengers).

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Spent 3 hours doing jumpers on the board and still can't figure out what's wrong. P1/P2 coin up, coin door lights, and controls aren't active. That would indicate to me that it's a ground issue, but I've checked all the ground continuity about 20 times and it's getting to the board. The only think I notice is that the board jumpers together A/B/1/2, E/F and 27/28. Could that be the a difference?

It's not the harness itself. Testing with a Simpsons board and all controls, coin up and lights come on. This 6-in-1 is frustrating. I'm getting ready to have my first PCB bonfire.

Edit: Figured it out. I jumpered 27/28 to 27/28 first slot and E/F to the E/F of the first slot. Evidently the resistors on the board don't work properly. I looks like I'll have to daisy chain the remaining grounds to get slots 2-6 to work though. Very much a PITA, but I guess it will work. There should be no feedback for the grounds, should there?
