I just got my 6-in-1 switcher from jammaboards. Question about installation...
do you guys insert the game pcbs directly into the switcher board or do you mount the pcbs on the side of the cabinet and then use jamma extension harnesses to connect to the switcher?
I got a couple of extension harnesses, thinking I would connect them to the pcb and then to the switcher, but I was watching some youTube videos and I saw that one installation had the pcbs plugged in directly to the switcher.
It seems to me using the extension harness would be better, but I didn't know if it performs better with the pcbs connected directly to the switcher?
Thanks.
