Jail Break - How come I never saw this BITD?!

You didn't get out enough? I thought Jail Break was one of those common conversions that was everywhere. I always liked shooting that annoying kid...it was worth sacrificing the 2000 points "Mom....Mom....<pow>...Oh no!" :D
Oh, incidentally, Hec just got one of the TG records on Jail Break.

Never saw it in the arcade here on the east coast.

I never heard of it until about a year ago, when I found a Jail Break cocktail in a pizza place about a mile from my house. Don't know if it's still there, as I haven't been in there in a few months. Last time I was there they still had it but it was out of order and shoved in a corner.

I saw it a couple of times BIID. Local arcade had one installed in a former Joust. The screen was folded up a little bit, but you could still play it. It's Rush'n Attack (I think the same engine) in an urban setting. You can move wider, and see naked titties, if you have good aim.

Now that Rush'n Attack is on ArcadeSD, I think Jail Break is a must-add.

Looks like Konami found a way to re-use some of that Contra code they had lying around the office. :)

.

When you run it in MAME, Jail Break actually says 1986, but Contra says 1987. Don't know the actual dates they came out though.

Flyer says `85...
