So all I hear is the WoZ is going to be a great game. I agree that it looks like a fun game to play, and I will definitely try it out as soon as I can, but honest to god, why are they making another baby pac man type game? At expo they mentioned that they will be stopping the ball at different points of the game to focus you on the LCD. This is that separation that Baby Pac Man had, the separation that video mode on DMD games have (which I don't really like), and this is the exact same thing that the original Pin2K concept had that they scrapped because they didn't think it would be successful. So why is it that WoZ chose this path? Do I agree we need to evolve beyond DMDs and other 90's tech? Absolutely! Do I have an alternative? Not off the top of my head, but beating a dead horse doesn't help either!

Look at your calendar. It's 2012, not 1973. Video games are, um, kinda popular.

P2K was freakin' awesome. It was scrapped because WMS wanted to dedicate themselves 100% to casino games. P2K would have saved pinball if the company that owned it didn't intentionally sabotage it.

he was speaking of the original p2k concept. not the finished product which is night and day different. the original p2k concept was basically baby pacman/granny and the gators rehashed.. for more on this watch tilt, the battle to save pinball.

I'm sure if there are points where they stop the ball for LCD animations, there will be ways to skip it with a double flipper press. TSPP lets you do this, Keith did the code for TSPP, and it only makes sense for an option like this on a game that will be in tons of people's homes. I'm not worried, this won't be Baby Pac Man.

Definitely won't be Baby Pac, really no comparison at all.

Saw Bally Atlantis in your sig stang, what an awesome game. I want one. Hitting that jackpot is a tough shot. So satisfying though.
