I cant get the video on my Centipede to display correctly. Just a mess of jagged and distorted video. Colors are correct. It looks like a sync issue, but I am pretty sure it isnt. The video connector looked to have had a cold solder joint, as I wiggled it and it displayed correctly until I let it go. I have resoldered that connector numerous times and now the video wont even budge. I am so fed up with this monitor that I could scream in a daycare during naptime.

Help....

Quiet please, my children are sleeping. You can send it to me to take a look at if you want or Dokert is closer and he could help you out too. Is your video connector the problem? Pins may be tired and worn out.

Check inside you video and sync plugs to see if your sync and ground pins are compressed in, if so, they will not make a decent connection on your chassis pins. It is also possible your sync wire may only have a few threads of wire touching inside the plug crimped pin.check continuity from the board to the sync plugs and wiggle wires to see if you have a make and break wire.
Check if you have a solder splash from your sync pin to your ground pin.

Could be horizontal SYNC. This sort of thing happens a lot just after a cap kit is done. The new parts are breaking in...

Found it. Broken trace from too much repetitive heat. Problem solved. I think I need to quit overreacting :p
