I bought this recently, and it's in great shape. It had a working 27" tube in it that i had to remove to get it down to the basement.
I want to replace the tube with a lcd tv, but the bezel on this cab is all one piece, from around the monitor to the speakers and marquee, and i don't want to hack it up. Ideally I'd find something to fit the opening
It's 16.5" tall and 22" wide.

Any suggestions on how i can fit something else lighter in there without chopping the bezel up, or a good way to mod it without destroying it?

Btw, anyone know what that monitor is worth? It's a 27" with some burn in on the bottom (insert coin nag)

Why did you remove the tube from the frame? You could've just removed the whole monitor (tube, frame, chassis) as one.

You could maybe fit a 24" LCD in there without having to hack up the current bezel. Then fill the top and bottom space with black poster board??

The frame was kind of wedged in there, i couldn't pull it out, so i just disconnected everything and pulled the tube out. I wish I'd have tried more to pull the whole basket out, but it was hot as hell and i just wanted the thing out.
