Hey Guys,

Finalized the deal yesterday and it ships today, I was able to get my hands on one of Mark's Prototype ZZPU (Zuper ZPU) Berzerk boards!

While I can't really use this in a machine on a regular basses as its too big, its still a great piece to have in my opinion. I think it trumps my Frenzy on a ZPU-1000 board that I randomly got.

I'll post of video of it working in one of my Berzerk machines when I get it!

Nice! I have one of the finalized ZZPUs in mine. Very cool piece to have. Congrats!

Whats the diffrence? In other words, what is it?

What's the difference? I'm not sure which is why I'm excited to get my hands on it!

Don't let this thread die out. I too am curious as to what this does.

I know at the minium it will let me play both Berzerk and Frenzy on the same machine. Supposedly you could select between fast bullets and slow bullets when you ordered your ZZPU, I'm curious to see which version this one was.

And don't worry I won't let the thread die! Otto hasn't caught me yet!

Huh? Too big? Too big for what? It's not even half the size of the original and it was made to use the same mounting holes. I'm obviously missing something here. Please explain.

Sorry I should have explained that better, the prototypes were too wide to fit in the draw and to have the door shut. At least that is what I have been told. We shall see!!!

Totally and completely forgot about this. I got the board in and it works great, unlike the official production boards, where you can hit player1 and player2 this one you have to hit a button on the PCB itself. Also for some strange reason Berzerk is in Germain, text only, and I haven't figured out yet what all the dip switches do yet. I'm thinking about installing this in my second Berzerk cabinet because its just too neat to not be using.
