ivan stewart off road/track pack issue with screen/board
I just picked this game up and I am starting to trouble shoot it (hopefully)
The game coins up with all 3 players, and all controls work nicely.
When the game is on, there is a little bit of quick rolling/flashing(lightly) on half of the screen, it is annoying but doesn't stop play.
Initially I thought it was a cap kit thing, but I started to play the game and noticed that the track was messed up looking. A better way to put it, the track that was displayed was not the track that I was playing. I watched as the robot cars drove around and they basically drove around invisible obstacles. When I made it to the 2nd screen, the same exact track was up on display, but obviously the robot cars drove around invisible obstacles again to compete in the race.
my +5 and +12 seem good, though I didn't test them on the board yet.
After I pulled the board I noticed a reset button, I wish I would have pushed it prior to pulling the board.
I guess I should just reseat the roms and see where it takes me?
Also there is a lithium battery connected to the board, guess it goes without saying I should cut that off?
Also, it's a k7000 and the knobs on the flyback are black, does that mean I don't need to insta-change it?
