I though I'd share a little with the Klov.
I'm here at work playing in the shop. I thought I test out my Metal bender.
I had plan to make Mini scale HS-1 Cabinets (inspired by my moppet Cabinet)
Because a real one are hard to find & the Control Panels are even harder to track down.
So I was trying to see if I can make a mini HS-1 modular Control Panel.

Well here is the result. I'll see if I can fine tune this bad boy & Maybe make the full size version later.
Again, this was just for fun & for my Mini cab project. Just wanted to share.
Here are the pic's:

Again, This is a prototype, I see im gonna have to make the front panel section a tad smaller to scale,
& weld in the stud hinges & clamp brace, but we'll see. again, this is only for fun.

we'll see. I'm just trying it out.

Going by what I have left. I know they are in demand, but I got so so much going on. again we'll see.

I have this & I'm trying to make a mini scale. If I can nail it, then I'll try for the Full size.

I noticed that the Prototype has too many bends, but I'll make those corrections.

Damn that's cool.

I'll be tracing my JAMMoppet for you later this week.
What I really think someone should clone is a Playchoice Countertop for 13" K7000's and a generic JAMMA 2P setup with Sanwa joysticks.

I think that it's a very useable size to be able to bring this around and plop it on a table for people to play. None of the components are HTF where one couldn't clone it for a JAMMA countertop. It could be a perfect home for many multi Horizontal games.

If Clay does produce the Nintendo variant of the ArcadeSD for NES/VS/PC10 ROMs... it'll be in high demand.

That there is the optional modular configuration plate.
Weather your going data east or Capcom button patterns. All you do
Is swap that if your going single player or dual. that there is the Data East pattern.
Capcom buttons line across with the 1 player button. this one shown is in between the 1 & 2 player button.
you can tell by the Plexi.

Thanks! Now I know what I have. I have a few of those plates brand new.

Steven, I have a frame but no insert... we need to talk! I'll measure my CP cutout...

Thanks Tighe,

I'll get it down soon enough. I just wanted to see if my bender can do the job.
I'll match the old with the new soon for comparison.

Broody, this is project #2463-18.32 section G7C.
You were close.

Ok, Getting Closer.
The 1st panel looked nothing like the original,
So I brought in the real deal to take the measurments.

It looks like I'm going to have to use the hydraulic roller on 1 section of the control
panel & use the bender at the other 2 points. As you can see I am getting Closer.
Have a Look (Remember its a Prototype):

So hopefully I get this down by Sunday , then Program the laser cutter to cut the proper
holes. Then I'll have to weld in the studs for the joystick & panel Hinge.
We'll see, I'm still having fun.

Ok yeah,

We are getting closer. Even though the hinge bracket is not welded on,
& the locking brace its getting closer.

Fits pretty well, I just gotta work out the curved bend at the top front panel to
match the slight curve.

Have a Look:

Well, if I had one to go by I think I could?
I just gotta have it in hand to measure it by & match.

I gotta order sheets of steel, 316 stainless is a bit pricey.

I would give my left nut for a shop like that. Nice panels too! Great work!
